Random Thoughts

First let me start off with saying that I LOVE Taco Bell. I have for many years. I even worked there for a year during college. That being said – I was always a fan. Until today.
I went for lunch and through the drive through – and they completely messed up the order. I mean I completely different person’s order. And I wasn’t the only one. I pulled around to the front and realized “Hey, this should be heavier…” (yeah, I know when you weigh your lunch it’s never a good thing). So I went inside and walked around the line of 10 people waiting to get their orders.
I stood there with my bag of food, receipt out and a pissed off look in my face. For five minutes. I was joined by a fellow customer whose order they got 1/2 right. No one was paying any attention to us.
Finally, one of the workers got off the line to ask if they could help us. We both told our story and he went back to get us the right food.
Twenty minutes later as they made other people’s orders while we waited. As the time passed, I was pacing around getting angrier and angrier by the moment. I asked to speak with a manager but that fell on deaf ears.
I finally got my food made sure I had my receipt with the store # on it and left.
At this point – nothing is going to change the way I feel about the restaurant – and I figure the best way to show my feelings is to not spend my money with them any more.
So – it was nice while it lasted, but you are dead to me.
